Canteen and paint hazardous waste conversion. For demonstration a batch of 50kg was used. The available civil composting pits were used. One cycle completion time was 3 weeks. Pilot scale results were replicated. Better output was in field as compared to lab and pilot due to higher surface area of composting pits. Better mixing available due to batch size. Canteen or any other organic waste can be blended with the paint waste in the same process. Fertilizer grade quality attained at the end of 3-week cycle that can be used for internal consumption in gardens for non-edible plants or landscaping

innovative method to curb bird hazard at the airbases – a unique combination of biocontrol methods to control the insects as the food source of the small birds and large birds was demonstrated and well accepted by Indian Airforce.

Airlines provide PPE kit which are not disposed at airports
Use of insect sensing ability was explored and successfully demonstrated to detect explosive at defence establishment. The project is now in further development.
