Management of insect pests: ‘Mitrakida® - FF’ is an effective and environmentally safe solution for the management of insect pests fruit flies. ‘Mitrakida® - FF’ contains infective juvenile of EntomoPathogenic Nematodes (EPN). ‘Mitrakida® - FF’ enters the pupal stage found in the soil and kills pests within 24-48 hours if processed properly as per instructions through its unique mechanism of action.
Dosage and method of application for open land:
Use 8 to 12 kg per acre. Take 200 – 250 kg of saw dust/coir pith/soil/sand/vermi-compost/organic manure/FYM (anyone), with the formulation for ease of spreading in the infected zone below the tree. Application is to be done by broadcasting or spot application. Post application light irrigation is necessary immediately. Application of Mitrakida® - FF is recommended in evening hours only.
Tolerance to chemicals: The infective juveniles are tolerant to most agrochemicals including herbicides, fungicides.
